Nokia Loyalist - Andriod Supporter - GenNext speaks differently

I was speaking to a friend and colleague of mine in office and since these smart phones have come out now, and earlier there were only one-feature phones [only for speaking, and sometimes for sending sms] , nowadays smart phones have their own features and along with that their own lingo, that today's nextGen people can only understand.

Earlier i would only use the phone for speaking and while sending sms, and if i had to tell some friend of mine, that i have sent sms, so i use to use this term only, that sent you sms, and please read it. But today's generation , they say, i text you, please text me back. When i heard this from a friend of mine, who is not technical, i was really surprised to hear such words. For first instance i did not understand what she is saying.

Another friend of mine in office, Shashank Shastri, who told me while we were talking, and chatting regarding the phones he told me that he has been Nokia loyalist , and directly switching from Nokia to Android , he doesnt likes it. I though he is saying, Nokialystic - like its some new word, that nowadays generation might be using, so i asked him to get it confirmed what he actually said. And yes he is today's generation guy, who is not willing to shift from Nokia to Android and then to blackberry if he is forced to.

Also he told me that Google has its own software, and Nokia has it own. Nokia has win 8 aur simbian OS and also Andriod software runs on the separate hardware and the Nokia runs on separate hardware. This was really amazing to know. I am also using a smart phone now, but i am unaware of all these new words and new hardwares and their makeup inside.

The kids also have changed. I was at home and my brother's daughter who is just 4 years old and some days back it was her birthday, so her father bought her a think pad of lenovo. She is so much in love with that pad and keeps playing games and enjoys all the apps that are there in it. One day she told me that i need a particular game, so i just asked her, that which game she needs and how to get it. My question was that what is the link or name of the game so that i can get it from google. But what she told me that time, shook me. She told , " kya itna easy to hai chacha, download karo aur phir install karo, aur phir game khelo". Frankly speaking, the downloading of an app and installing i only heard all these words when i joined my first company and there i had created an app. Till then too my logic and my understanding for downloading and installing was not clear. But today's kids, due to cartoons and TV's have become smart like smart phones.

I really appreciate all the youngsters and kids, who know what information is and how to send the message and information in an appropriate way to all the concerned people.

Diwali Celeberation in Atos

FATANG is the team responsible for arranging the fun-filled activities and the well-being at work initiatives for my company where i work in.
It was a wonderful thing to receive a mail a day before, that today there will be a traditional day, and a food festival along with the Rangoli competitions. I did not take part in Rangoli Competition, but yes i did wear the traditional dress. But many teams who took part in Rangoli , did a great job . The above picture of FATANG is actually a rangoli taken by FATANG team and the full form of this is written below that.

 This rangoli depicts OM and the Ganesha designed in a typical way, that both are merged in to one. How beautifully the designer has then made a semi-circle designed with the half spaced donut design.

The green, red and the white combination of colours in just making the rangoli look more appealing.
This is a Ganesha , side view with an eye and a trunk. The different colours small dots, depict as if Ganesha is wearing a scarf and a cloth of seven colours - very rich.

Elephant headed God is the God who is prayed with lot of devotion. It was Lord Shankar, Father of Lord Ganesha who granted him this blessing, that when ever, whereever, who so ever will begin anything, or do any puja, the first God who will be worshiped or remembered will be Ganesha, and without remembering and worshiping Ganesha no one will be worshiped. Hence when we begin any work or do any festival or puja, first we worship Lord Ganesha and take his blessings.

 This is where the rangoli is wishing us Happy Diwali.  The deepak that is burning in midst of the seven colours is suiting the entire rangoli.

The seven colours depict our life and the joys and the sorrows we have in our life. The colours give us the meaning and changes our life. If we are sad, we feel its dull and black colour and when we are happy we like to see, bright, florescent colors.
 Here the nature is at its best. Two birds on a tree. This speaks a lot. Two friends, two lovers, having fun in this nature.

Nature is the place where we need to be today. Today in the city life, where we face the cement jungle, the pollution of the fuels and other checmicals, where we cant see any green open space, its high time we should take nature seriously and protect it.
 The Elephant, who lives along with all the small and big animals, and enjoys its herbivorous status .

If animals, birds, and the sea life is not existing with each other, its hard to believe if we can either live and survive without them. If we are killing them we are actually killing ourselves and our lives. Imagine can we live and survive if no animal exists. Think:)
 This is a rangoli at its best. The round shape, the colourful, its design is great. The peacock based mehendi design shapes are used in this to give it a rich look.

The Green is for Peace, White is for unity and the other bright colours are for joy and the love we share with each other during the seasons and the festivals like diwali, by sharing sweets and blessings with each other.

This is depicting what India is going through at present. The sad but the real true topic, the rape that has increased . We surely should take some strict steps to stop this rapists.

Rape is the heinous crime that should never be done on any women, or girl. It is just like killing the virginity, that means killing the girl. So if you kill anyone, then the punishment of that is death penalty nothing less.

 A lamp was lit in midst of all the rangolis'. The lighting of the lamp is most auspicious and the sign of growth and light. And where there is light the darkness disappears. The sad, agony and pain are no more existing and the happiness comes in and makes every life more sweeter and brighter.

And finally the sweets were distributed by our company Atos, as Diwali is the festival when everyone eats lot of sweets and welcome the New year. Everyone had different styles of preparing sweets. Some people prepare at home, some purchase it from outside.

This is myself, dressed in a traditional dress. This is the tradition of India. We all love our country and this is the time when we get chance to express our feelings by dressing it in our traditional dresses. This shows exactly what unity in diversity is.

Some have dressed in Gujrati dresses, some in south Indian lungis and dhotis of Calcutta, the salwar and the pataloon of Sindhis in sindhi style, or a Maharashtrian Topis and dhotis, and the bhangra style punjabu traditional dresses. From North to south it was a wonderful cosmopolitan dress code to view in Mumbai office.

 Here is my friend Siddeshwar Pawar who was very enthusiastic to wear his traditional kurta, over a jean. That is the great combination of the traditional cum modern look. This type of dress suits him a lot.

His love and affection for his country and the traditional values is very appreciable. He always speaks about the Indian style of living. The food , the travel experiences and the most importantly his own customs and views.

He tells me about how he enjoys cooking and eating different delicious foods. He is also a fan of his mother's cooked meals, and he never likes to miss it.

He is also a thorough IT professional and is expert in his field of SAP.

He also has many other qualities apart from being a sport and taking life joyfully.

This is my working area. My computer and my self we are true friends for 9 hours that i spend in office. I always remember one line from a famous poem,
"My never failing friends are they, with whom i converse day by day". So its my computer with whom i converse till i am in office. I love my computer the most.

And yes this is a standing pose for i was extremely charged up and happy for showing off my traditional dress and the rangoli event that was going on.

I had a wonderful time and i think i celebrated my Diwali now itself.

I wish you all a very Happy Diwali and a prosperous New year ahead.

A trip to Khopoli Ashram - Mangeshda

On 27th December 2012, I was off to Khopoli for celeberating the New Year with Dada Mangeshda's 4 day retreat called "How to be Happy" in Mangeshda's Ashram in Khopoli from 27th December till 1st January 2013. The experience was so beautiful that can only be felt. Being with Dada all the 4 days itself is a bliss. It is said that if you only be with the enlightened soul, you get all the bliss and ample blessings of the sadguru and God by doing nothing else. Its like if the soil cloth is put in water with soap, and left it for sometime, it mud stuck on the cloth will automatically be loosened, and then after sometime we will have to only brush it once so that all the dirt is gone. Similarly, being with the enlightened soul , same thing happens, all the dirt from the inside, gets removed automatically, and then only by one chant of Rama, all the dirt will be washed off with the brush. So when we reached there, Dada was just waiting outside the Auditorium hall, and guiding the gardener to clean up the garden. And we took his blessings, and then we were given keys , we rushed and kept the luggage in our rooms, and came within 15 mins to the auditorium, as the retreat "How to be happy" was about to begin. We were all there. There were around 60 members who participated in the retreat, that was to go for 4 long days. The first round of introduction, of all the members, was in it, a lot of insight in different cultures, different people, coming from differen backgrounds, some from Maharshtra, some from South and everyone from different professional backgrounds. After that there was a small speach by Dada, in which he explained what we will be doing in these coming 4 days. He made 4 groups, and 4 leaders, and said that we will be playing lot many games, in the groups, many competitions, many debates will take place, and based on those the dharmic speeches will be given. Then we had lunch and then again settled down.

A trip to Alibaugh

When my music sir plans any trip, he makes sure that the trip is memorable. Same was the case, when we planned to go for a one night stay to Alibaugh. There were 7 other music students who decided to join in and we had booked Tavera to take us along the greener and the wonderful highways off from Mumbai to Alibaugh.
This trip was a very memorable one because we had a entrant who had joined the trip only to drink hotdrinks, and along with him three others were already decided that tonight it would be a bash and the drinks will flow like water in the tap.

We all met early morning but at our surprise , they did not bring drinks along with them. So we were wondering from where they will get them. While asking they said that they will be purchasing it from Alibaugh once they reach there, and we knew nothing of Alibaugh, so were again wondering , how will they arrange that.

The journey was too long and so we started to have the breakfast in the car itself. It was some stuff brought by all the members from their homes. We had breakfast. Most of us were singing and enjoying the journey. We then halted at the tea-stall and had tea. It was a masala tea and favorite of everyone. We did not half for long anywhere as we had a plan to have lunch in a hotel in Alibaugh. A hotel that was suggested by Kunte sir, who belongs to Alibaugh and he has been there many a times. He was the one who also

Mangeshda's birthday and Annual Day Celeberations

I was blessed to attend the program yesterday, on 24th October 2013, of Sri Sri Mangeshda's Birthday and Annual Day celeberations, that was held in Ravindra Sabhagrah, Dadar, Mumbai. I went there along with Dr. Kokal and Mrs. Kokal, who had introduced me to such a great organisation and the saint of mordern India. We reached there at 6:30 PM, after ranging from the heavy traffic that we faced at Sion, and then Dadar. Whew! what a teribble traffic of Mumbai city.
We were all seated in the full packed hall and at 7:00 PM, Dada (sri Mangeshda as he is lovingly called) arrived and the ceremony began. The very first there was an introduction speach by Mr. Pandya, who is a very good orater and appears in Zee News and many other channels, who introduced all the chief guests who had been invited. Later on there was a small video that showcased the story from childhood till what is recently done by thier foundation. Later on there was a special Puja conducted on the occasion of His birthday.
After that Dada gave a very small speach, but that contained everything in a jist. Dada's speech is always a gift for all who attend the meeting. He speaks in short but delivers such a strong message in it. All the words spoken by Him are immortal. Yesterday He told "We say what this world is doing to solve all the problems, but I ask myself only one question, what i am doing to solve that problem, because, you and me are we and this is our India, our Nation". Great these were the words that are etched in my heart and will be there for ever. After that there was speech given by all the guests who were invited.
Later on there was a wonderful musical program by youngsters who were classical instrumetalists, Mr. Bhave: Tabla player, Ms. Bhave: Violin Player, and Mr. Siddesh - a Jal Tarang player (This instrumet is a very unique and rarely played since it is the music that is created from the different sizes and shapes of clay bowls and the water poured in it of a equivalent amount so that it should produce the specific sargam. They played three songs, and they were marvalous. You can find small glimpse of that in the video attached herewith. Sri Sri Mangeshdaji also praised a lot to them. The program ended and we reached home by 12:00 Night.

A Trip To Gondavalekar

|| Shree Ram JAi Ram Jai Jai Ram ||
We were planning this trip since long but finalized it on last week of september 2013, along with the music class where i learn Tabla (I have given 1st exam of Tabla and scored 1st class, preparations for second exam is going on. This is just for your information). Our music sir, Shri Abhay Bhide sir, along with 5 more members (Mr. Vaidya, Mr Brid, Mr. Kulkarni, Mr. Orpe, Mr. Nagraj Naik), who come to learn music there, planned to have a trip . Earlier we decided to go in Bus, but since its a long journey of 6 hours from Mumbai, we decided to book a Tavera, that will make our travel easy, and yes it did. Gondavalekar is situated 40 KMs away from Satara, which is around 300 KMS from Mumbai. We went via Mumbai-Pune Highway, and then towards Satara, bypassing Mahableshwar on the way. It was a 2 day trip, and 1 night stay in Gondavlekar Ashram. We met at morning 5:00 AM at Mulund Station where Tavera was waiting for all of us to pick up. We were waiting for everyone to come, so it took 6:00 AM while we left for the journey. We had taken some stuff for eating in the car, but at 11:00 we , had already decided to have Misal-Pau at a well known joint in Pune. We halted there for a fantastic Misal Pau and Tea. The picture below shows that place.

After having this delicious breakfast, we headed towards our destination, Gondavlekar. We had to reach there before 1:30, otherwise the prasad Lunch would get closed. If we reached after that,we had to eat somewhere outside. But as per God's will, we reached there sharp at 1:00 PM, and first went to have Lunch. It was a bliss to have such a nice prasad. Rice, Dal, Roti, Bhaji , Chatni, and a glass full of Chaas. That was more than filling. After having that we went for darshan. The darshan was most blissful. We went in the samadhi temple of shri Maharaj (As Gondavlekar Maharaj is addressed), and the feeling there was out of this world. It seemed we have entered heaven.

Later we went to the office and got the keys for the room where we planned to stay for a night. We all took one big room, and were all together. We took some nap after such a long journey and then at 6 PM we all dressed up to go out side and have darshan and attend arti that begins at 7:30 PM. We went out side. There was a Ram Temple, that we visited, near by. The Ram Laxman Sita Murti was installed by Sri Maharaj himself. That was just behind the main temple.
There is a story, that one day, when Shri Maharaj, went to that temple, and took the darshan and was returning back, the prist came running, after seing that there were tears in the statue of Lord Rama's eyes, and he requested to come inside the temple. It was that dedication, and the constant 'Namasmaran ie Chanting of the mantra' he did, due to which he was so loved by lord. Shri Maharaj had popularized the Mantra "Shree Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" and stressed on the 'Namasmaran', to all his devotees. He said the 'namasmaran' should go on continously non stop and that is the only way to get salvation from this world in this 'kalayuga'.

After attending the Arti, we went to have dinner prasad, and then we took a small walk. We all gathered in the night at the room and discussed some wordly topics, and then slpet by around 11:00 PM. The next day morning was important for me, since i spoke to the temple people that i had to sing a bhajan. So they said you have to be present in the samadhi temple at 5:00 AM. But when we slept so late, so it was sure i would not be able to get up at 5:00 AM. But it was amazing, how i got up at 4:00, and was present in Temple , after taking bath and all, by 5:00 AM. You know the reason, the temple guys, banged the wakeup drums at sharp 4:00 AM, so that everyone should get up.

At 5:00 AM, after the arti was over, and since it was a sunday, many people were there in the temple, and many people were there for singing bhajans too. So i went and requested the one who was arranging the bhajan mandli, that i would like to sing. He then consulted his member, but he refused, since there were many people already who had to sing. I told both of them, that i have come from Mumbai, and i will be going back today, so i request you to give me 2 mins, and i will complete my bhajan in 2 mins. So they agreed. And i sang a very famous bhajan in Marathi, by Saint Namdev, "Maza Bhav Tujhe Charni". That was awesome. Many poeple liked it, and they appriciated me.

We had to leave by 11:00 AM, since we had decided to visit Sajjangad - A math of shri Ramdas Samarth - Saint of Shivaji Maharaj. So we left and reached there by 1:00 PM. We had to climb up the 300 stairs to reach the top, where the temple and the ashram was built. It was a fabulous Ashram. As we were going upstairs, in between i saw some very beautiful Maruti pictures of different styles. You can see in the pictures.
After visiting the Sajjangad fort, we then drove back to Mumbai, and in between took an hours break for having Lunch at Pune. We are were surely tired , as we reached Mulund by 7:00 PM, sunday evening. But it was a trip to remember. Thanks to all who planned, arranged and managed to go there. A Trip To Ganeshpuri

Ganeshpuri is located 80 KM away from Mumbai. You can get the details of all at this link: This is a shrine of Sri Nityanand Baba Ji - Who is lovingly called (Bade Baba). His deciple Sri Mukhtanand Baba ji (Baba ji) was the guru and now currently sri Chidvilasananda (Gurumayi) is the Guru of that Ashram. You can read further on this at following link: Bhagwan NityanandaBaba MuktananadaGurumayiFollowing is the photograph of all the three saints.
It was a very planned trip. My family, that consists of my wife, and my daughter :) my mother, my brother and bhabhi we all planned a trip to Ganeshpuri. It was a fabulous trip. We reached the Ganeshpuri Ashram at 1:00 PM, after travelling for around 4 hours from our place. We had gone in our car, and that was a very comfortable drive indeed. My Brother was driving the car. We were all enjoying the nature and singing songs and bhajans till we reach the destination. We are not allowed to enter the ashram, only the people who regularly visit and are the members are only allowed.
Outside the Ashram there is a big temple, where all the Arti's and other program are held. So we atteneded the Afternoon arti and then we proceded to see the Nityanand temple, that was situated few meters ahead. There we attended a havan that went for 1/2 hour . Later we went to have some food and bought some photographs and the malas and books from the shops outside. We went back to the new temple where we had halted first,a nd there we attended the evening Arti , go a delicious prasad and then we headed towards our home. It was a very blissful experience. The great saints shower their blessings in their own way. We only need to keep good and positive thoughts in our minds.

My Friend's Wedding

On 23rd October 2013, i was invited to a Friend's wedding. His name is Ramesh Shanbhague and he is tying the knot with his own caste girl named Amruta, and with his parent;'s consent both of them did a perfect arranged marraige. It was very nice to see all the rituals at the wedding for the first time. The marriage ceremony lasted for 4 hours.
It was indeed a wonderful and a very knowledge intensive wedding ceremony. I took ample interest in watching and noting down the 'rasams', rituals that were conducted by the three priests who were present there, and were conducting the ceremony.
The dulhe raja - Ramesh was as usual looking very smart and dashing in his Sherwani and pagdi - the off white, embroidaried dress, and the dulhan - Amruta was no less, and equally beautiful. The couple was just made for each other.
The different rutials like pheras - Bride and the Groom taking 7 circles around the fire God, where in each circle they take some intensly deep meaning promises of keeping up the marriage life long and also for 7 births. Then it was time to put the mangal sutra and the sindoor to bride. Later came the Kanya-daan, by the brides Father and Mother, kanyadaan means, Handing over thier daughter to her hasband, and saying that he is now whole and sole responsible for her good or bad. Later came Saptapada - walking for 7 steps with each other, and then Snake pooja. In every puja, the bride and groom took ample interest and were performing all the rituals as they were been told. Ramesh was taking good amount of interest and initiative , and proactivily doing the pujas. Later on we all met him on the stage. Ramesh was dressed in a fantastic suit.
Then we proceeded on to have Lunch. Since it was a morning wedding, it all started at 10:AM and ended at 1:00 PM. We had a wonderful cooked pure indian, maharashrian lunch, with sitafal basondi, chaas and the icecream being the most delicous dishes.
We all enjoyed the wedding and we all pray God to shower all his choicest blesings over the couple.

My Car

My Accent Car is my favorite car. There are many reasons for this. It’s not only because it is my car, but also I have fallen in love with its shape. Whenever I see Accent car, I wonder, how different its shape and creation is. Hats-off to the person, who is behind such a creative design! I also like to shape of its tail lights. I have not seen such a fantastic shape of taillights of any car recently. Any cars that we see have either very small or very large tail lights, but in accent you will agree, it’s up to the mark, not big, not small, they are just fantastic. I am using this car since last 3 years now, but I have still could not make my mind to sell this, and buy any another car. Every time I see my car, and my love for my car starts emerging like something very new.
I have few things that are not in good condition in my car, but they are just too small reason to sell my car. If I spend some amount of money on it, my car would again be in a mint condition. I will only have to change two tires that have not lost their age and then some changes in my interiors. I am also happy with my car, since I took a second hand car, and i always thought that my car would give me lot of trouble in the maintenance. But in these three plus years I have not faced any major problem in my car. Also I have taken my car till Pune for 5-6 times, and daily i drive it for 20 plus kilometers, but it have never given me any tough time.

My friend and a guide, Sidheshwar Pawar, who is also my colleague, guided me a lot with my car. He has extensive knowledge of cars and he told me that since childhood he has been fans of cars, and cars fascinate him, more than anything else. I spoke to him and with his ample knowledge, he guided me with every small details of how I take care of my car, and based on his inputs I moved ahead. I first told him to take a test drive, and he humbly accepted it. After taking a test drive, he came to know what all problem my car has, and he got me a list done of what all things I need to get it repaired. I have followed his advice very seriously and I am taking small steps each weekend, to do up my car, to look new. I truly wonder how I got my dear friend Siddhesh, helping me out so much in car maintenance, where I do not know its ABC. After discussing and getting some knowledge about the cars, I have understood little bit how to go ahead and get my car in shape again.
I am thankful to his advices and his mystic solutions and appreciate his love for cars.
I would like to keep this car for ever, and maintain it till long years, and will make it a classic car, and show it to my children's children and would take them for a drive in this car. Hopefully this wish gets completed, but let’s see how life takes me and my car ahead.:)

Weekend cooking : Sindhi Khati Dal and Rice

My Friend Siddeshwar Pawar, is also a huge Fan of Eating as well as cooking food. While once we were talking, we came across the conversation about how he prepares the food, when he is at home, and his mother, father and sister enjoys his prepared delicasies. So i also was charged up to cook something special last weekend. When i went home on friday, i told that i will prepare meals on sunday and i told my mother and my wife to guide me. My mother told me the simplest thing to prepare is Sindhi Khati Dal and Rice, so i decided to begin my chef hobby with this. I got up on Sunday, and wanted to begin with my work as early as possible. So i went to mother and told her, "ok, tell me how do i begin?". She said first take the amount of dal and rice and keep it both in water seperately for atlesat 1 hour. That was the beginning. I took out the 2 wati's of Moong Dal, and 2 watis of rice and put it in seperate bowls and kept it for soaking in water for 1 hour. After 1 hour got over, i got in the kitchen again, and i told them , no one will enter the kitchen. You only give me directions. My wife was discussing with my mother, and wondering how will i complete the task. She told me - Kitchen kharab mat kar dena - being my wife's area, she was more worried than any one else. My daughter was dancing from here to there, also wondering what is my dad doing. :)
My mother told me the steps and i started my work. I first started with preparing the dal. I took the cooker and put the water, the water should be little bit more above the dal, and then salt to taste, and a pich of haldi, one big tomato cut in pieces, and i closed the cooker for 7-8 wistles. After 8 wistles, i closed the gas. Till the pressure gets over, and the cookers cover gets opened, i took another cooker, and started preparing rice. I put rice, water that allt he rice is submerged in to it, a pich of salt, and 1 spoon of oil. Close the cooker, and keep it for 4-5 wistles. After 5 wistles, i closed the gas. When i opened Dal's cooker, i had to do lot of work, before the dal was ready. The corriender leaves, neem leaves, ginger, green chili, and imli and kookam, all cut in small pieces, and i put that in to the dal. I stirred it well and put it on gas for giving it good cooking for a flavour. The dal was getting cooked, and then it was time for tadka. I took little jeera, hurba, and hing, put it in little oil in a tadka pan, heated it for a while and put it in the dal. The flavour that came out was out of this world, and my dal and rice were ready to serve hot.

Tere Tan Mein Ram - Bhajan

Tere Tan Mein Ram, Man Mein Ram.....
This is one of my favorite bhajans.
It has a very deep meaning with inspiring thoughts to tend ourselves towards God. The mesmerising tune and magical voice of the singer Shri Anup Jalota ji, encapsulates the audiances for the entire Bhanjan.

When we hear bhajans we get disconnected with this world and for feel the eternal peace.
This bhajan specially gives a feeling of self realization. It says, inside your body, inside your soul, inside your every part of body, Lord Rama resides and exists and its a personal feeling, that God do exists in us, in every part of us. Once we have that faith, that God is doing everything,and without Him not even one leaf swings, then we are free of all the anxiety and tensions and do our jobs without any expectations.

Relations

All the persons in this world share some or the other relation with another human being. Even the persons who haven't met eachother before. They share a relation of a stranger. Isin't it?
Two people can be friends, hasband-wife, mother-father, and many other relations, and each one of these relations are very subtle and need to be handled with utmost care. A father-son relation is on a different level and a father-daughter relation is on the other level. Similarly is between the mother-son and mother-daughter relation. It is obvious that each person has many different relations with different people in this world. You are a boss for someone, and you are subordinate to some one. You are a father to some one, and a son to someone. Your behaviour while you speak to different people change , based on your role and ofcouse on the situation you are in. You speak to your juniors differently and your seniors differently. Your expectations with each one of them also changes. You expect something a junior should do, and they expect some thing being a senior you should do. And here comes the major conflict - when you do not get what you expect from each other, you become away and start acting and behaving like a stranger. This is a clear observation in my life.
Many poeple being too close , live like strangers and many people, being an outsider, can become more closer than the persons with whom we stay. The only differece in this is, what we have in our minds for others. If we have bad thoughts for the persons who are close to us, they will finally become strangers, and if we have good thoughts for them, then we can really make our relations with them grow stronger and tighter.

Octave and 12 notes

Music is the soul of life. Without music life doesn't exists. People either have interest in singing, playing some instrument and enjoying music and others just listen to the it , but no one can live with out it.

Hindustani classical music is one of the india’s oldest forms of music that contains the different Ragas . Raga is a peculiar set of notes played in a format, that gives a specific flavor to that music. Each Raga has its own specific set of tones. Each raga has its own mood , own time and own specific style of generating music.

In Music, we have octaves. In one octave, there are seven notes.
In Hindustani Music they range from SA RE GA MA PA DHA NI
And in Western Music they range from C,D,E,F,G,A,B
But there are other variations in these, that actually make up 12 notes in one octave.
In Hindustani Music we call them as Sudha swar, Komal Swar, and Tvr Swar
In Western Music we call them as Flat tunes and sharp tunes.
So considering all this in an octave we have total 12 notes.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni

In this world we have so many languages, each language has so many alphabets, but when it comes to music, music of any country, any part of the world, they revolve around the seven notes of music, that are again differently named in Hindustani Classical Music, differently in Carnatic Classical Music, and differnetly in Western Classical Music, but they are only seven notes.
I am highly inclined towards music. I love Classical Music, indian music, western music, and pop-rock world of music. I enjoy playing casio, tabla, singing songs, recording them in my own house, (not that professional, but yes its appealing) and then writing poems, composing them on the music.
One day while i was jusy thinking about music and singing the seven notes of from SA - Ni, i was wondering why these seven notes of Hindustani classical music are written and put up this way.Below i give my view and description of this notes. They are not atall anyway linked to the music , its just my view and i am sure you will enjoy it.

Sare gama padh ni-ychawar

Sare - All
gama - sadness, pain,
padh - on the road
ni-ychavar - put it

so as you read above, it says, when you sing, hear or recite the music , that can be any light and soothing music, you actually will become de-stress, that you will feel that all your pains, stress, anxiety, is going out of your body and its been thrown out on the roads.

MQ and MB

MQ and MB together form a middleware tool that is developed by IBM and dwells under the Web Sphere umbrella of IBM products. Web Sphere has many different tools under it, and MQ/MB products are peculiarly used for the middleware. There are following products, MQ, Message Broker and Work Flow products. Message Broker has one sub product called Event Broker that is widely used in pub/sub message transformation capabilities.
The Queues are the temporary storage place that only holds the messages in it till it is been picked up by another queue or by the Message Broker. The Message Queue’s work only is to transfer the messages from one queue to another, using different concepts like MQI, Clusters, Queue Sharing Groups etc and it makes sure no message is lost or duplicated in that process. The transfer process of MQ is most robust as it takes complete responsibility in handling the messages well. In this process it uses different types of Queues, different channels, and process definitions to manage the messages placed in it. There are two ways to transfer the messages. They are Pass-Through Messages and Transformed messages. In case of Pass-Through Messages, the messages are directly sent from Queues to the external application, but the messages would be as it is. If the messages have to be transformed or filtered out, or mapped according to the requirements of the external applications then it falls in the category of the transformed messages. These messages must be sent from the queues to the Message Broker, to get it transformed. Message Broker has this capability to transform, filter, and Map the messages and then route it to the correct destination Queue in MQ. To do this processing, Message Broker also has many objects and concepts. It uses its proprietary language called ESQL [Extended SQL] that does the required processing of the message. Apart from this it also uses Java language to work with it. It has its own classes that are to be deployed in directory and then to be imported in the Java Compute Node.
I sometimes wonder, how well the logical and proper separation of the functionality is been done in these two products. Apart from this it does provide the superb methodology for monitoring our messages using monitoring tools provided in the product itself, or by other IBM Monitoring tools. Also the third party monitoring tools can be configured to monitor the whole system. There is an Alert and Notification system set up along with the API and security exits to provide instant information about any failure.
I truly admire this tool and love to work with it.

The Message Queue and the Message Broker,
Takes your message, here to there,
The way you want the way to send,
Yes, its commands, take all the care.

SQL Injection Vulnerability

Definition

SQL Injection is a vulnerability that occurs, when a person inputs any malicious code in any of the input fields, and it is accepted by the system. This then directly goes and hits the database, and fetches the private information from it, is called the SQL injection Vulnerability.

Description

Mostly SQL Injection is seen in the website where there is some input field existing. If we have a drop down box, or a radio button, then there is no threat of vulnerability attack, because nothing goes as an input from outside, as all the values are picked up internally.

This vulnerability is such a serious vulnerability that if a hacker takes the advantage of this, he can cause a great loss to a website. If we neglect this vulnerability and leave its loose ends, then its sure that our database containing the private, confidential and the personal information will be hacked and cause our business many losses. Not only this but also we will be left giving our and our customers, and clients private data in their hands. Remember the strict privacy laws existing nowadays, that should be taken care by the persons who have created or are maintaining a particular website. That’s why this SQL injection vulnerability needs to be handled and managed carefully to make ourselves safe.

Java - forever and everywhere.

Java is a programming language as well as a platform of its own. Isn’t it nice to know this, that we have a language that is platform independent? I never believed this till I saw how Java is platform independent.I wrote a code in Windows, compiled it in Windows and wanted to test it in Linux or UNIX machine. I managed to get a UNIX machine and installed Java and JRE on that machine. Yes I had to set up the class-path in it. Once I did that, I copied the java classes that I had compiled in Windows and put that in to UNIX machine. I though it will surely ask for some change in the code, and will throw some unexpected, run-time exception. But anyways I had no choice of compiling it and therefore i just simply ran it. I ran it and yes I saw that it ran perfectly fine without any error. Without even changing one word in the Java file I could run that in UNIX machine. The only thing failed was the path of the file that I had given in one of the java code. For e.g.: “C :\\\” . This caused problems while running in UNIX, as it could not find the directory. This was supposed to be changed to the UNIX directory and with double slashes.But yes there is a roundabout for this too. The file path can be put in a key-value pair and then the key is to be called in the program. This way, the only thing that should be changed is the value, and the key will remain the same. This key –Value pair can be put in some properties file that can be referred in to the java code.
so therefore Windows or UNIX
You just can exchange,
Your Java code will run
Without any change.

Abstraction and Encapsulation in Java

Java is a language of objects. Different objects created by different people are used by different people at different places, there by creating an application for a given purpose. To do so, java has provided us with different types of classes, methods and variables to deal with. One of them is abstraction that helps java programmers to deal with the objects in the case when they are more generalized or not real and thus are not required to be instantiated. There can be several reasons though, that some of the classes should not be instantiated, and some of the classes need not be instantiated. Some examples that will help us understand this is that some things can not exist; they are just unreal or imaginary. For e.g. good and bad, they all are feelings and can only be imagined. Therefore these should be declared as abstract class. And then there are some things that are much generalized, the common nouns, - like a book. And thus they need to be made abstract class.
It did take a lot of time for me to understand about which classes should be abstract and which should not be. Now if I consider that class Good can be abstract and I declare it as abstract, but it would be of no use if I don’t use them. Abstract classes in them are not at all of any use as there is no implementation of that class. An abstract class has methods that are declared as abstract or even not. All the methods that are declared as abstract have only signatures and they are without body. To utilize them, we need to use it in non abstract class and give them body that is writing the implementation. All the non-abstract methods in abstract class already have the implementation, which can be used in normal classes.
It would be like a class Good if not used on any person, or animal or thing, then Good will just remain a feeling. So I should say Good boy, or good girl. For that I will have to use that abstract class in some concrete class. So now I declare another normal class ‘Boy’ and use ‘Good’ abstract class. Once when I use Good class in Boy subclass, I can use all the methods written in Good class in Boy class to give it a proper implementation. For using both these classes and the methods written in both the classes, I have created another class called StudentConduct.
public abstract class Good {
private String quality;
public abstract void getDegreeOfGoodness(int goodnessMarks);
public String getQuality()
{
quality = "Good";
return quality;
}
}

public class Boy extends Good {
int behaviorMarks=0;
String degree="";
public void getDegreeOfGoodness(int behaviorMarks)
{
if(behaviorMarks >10)
degree="Very Very";
else if((behaviorMarks <> 7))
degree = "Very";
else if((behaviorMarks <> 4))
degree = "Ok";
else if(behaviorMarks < 4)
degree = "Not";
System.out.println(degree+" "+getQuality());
}
}

public class StudentConduct extends Boy {
public void getStudentConduct()
{
Boy b1 = new Boy();
b1.getDegreeOfGoodness(5);
}
public static void main(String args[])
{
StudentConduct sc = new StudentConduct();
sc.getStudentConduct();
}
}

The above abstract class Good, has two methods, one is abstract and another one, non-abstract, returning the string quality. The method is “getQuality()”, that has a string ‘quality’. In another class, the method is directly called, without changing the string ‘quality’ there by making sure it is untouched. Also the string is declared as private, to protect it from getting changed in any other place. Once this string is declared as private, its value cannot be changed. This phenomenon is called encapsulation or hiding and protecting your data from misuse.

Coffee

I remember long back, once I had taken filter coffee, and of course it was too strong, and I did not like its taste at all. Since then I never had it. Many people used to ask me and wonder that I don’t drink coffee. Many tried to tell me many things but I never tried. They told, sometimes coffee is strong so don’t hate it, drink mild coffee. But No was No. The only thing left was tea, and I was surviving on it. I used to tell my friends drink tea instead of coffee as I was and am a fan of Tea.

After many years, when I got married I came to know that my wife Sonia is a huge fan of coffee. Oh! Certainly that was a surprise to me, and yes a certain surprise for her too when she knew, that I don’t like coffee at all. Unfortunately, after that, whenever she had coffee, I could never share with her. One day we were shopping almost the whole day, and by the end of the day I was extremely tired, and I told my wife that I need to have some tea or anything, and refresh myself. There was a coffee shop nearby, and nothing else. She smilingly said, “There is only a coffee shop and you don’t drink coffee. What you want to do”. I was not at all in the mood to do anything but only to have either tea or ...coffee will also do. I entered the shop and ordered a very mild coffee, and drank it in one go.

Ah! Now began a new day and a new taste for me. After that day, coffee has been my favourite drink. Now I drink coffee everyday along with my wife, and enjoy it the most. It is the gift that my wife has given me.
Coffee, Coffee, oh! its Coffee
Have a full cup of Coffee,

Sometimes mild, sometimes strong
Oh! Its taste lasts for long
Sometimes hot sometimes cold
It tastes wonderful, its told.

Coffee, Coffee, Oh! its Coffee,
Nothing is as good as thee!!
Hadn’t she taken me to shopping that day; I would have never learnt to drink coffee and realised its immense mesmerising taste.
I love you Sonia!!
